Why did your club choose to use Pitchero?

Prior to the club joining Pitchero we ran a standalone website which was difficult to update without advanced IT knowledge and expensive software. This meant the website was only updated a few times a week and looked tired and unused.

Playing in the Ryman Football League we need a website we could up date daily with team news and match reports.

As Pitchero was online, simple to use and allowed more then one Webmaster we could overcome all of these problems in one go.

What do you like most about Pitchero?

We have our First Team, Reserves Team, 2 College Teams, and 3 Alliance Teams all using the same website but with different Webmasters.

Each Webmaster can access the site as administrators on any PC, so postponed games and new signings can be added immediately. This means we attract more traffic and reach more fans.

Have you received positive feedback from club members?

Yes almost instantly. We knew the site looked good, but was unprepared for the response. Within a month we had 3 times more members than our average match day crowd!

Plus, by updating the news items regularly and changing the photos we have a website that looks clean, fresh, and is visited by supporters, sponsors and many other guests. We get 3 new enquiries on average a week about joining the club as players, and have members in 6 different countries.

No computer knowledge is needed and uploading reports, videos, and photos takes seconds.

Have you enjoyed working with Pitchero?

Yes, Pitchero provide help and updates when required and the dashboard reporting is a useful tool in monitoring our hits, and visits. Pitchero are always looking for new ways to update the content, and add new pages which gives us the opportunity to expand the site.

Has Pitchero improved the profile of your club online and in the local area?

Yes. I believe our site is more professional looking and attracts more visitors than many clubs higher up the pyramid. Plus, the site is a great selling point to existing and potential sponsors.
