The 1st XV travel to third placed Bowdon to play what is effectively a promotion play-off to decide which team will be joining Manchester Medics in South Lancs and Cheshire 1 next season. This will be a challenging game for the 1st XV and all support is encouraged.To help support the 1st XV, Chris Jones has booked a 49-seater coach for Saturday. It will leave the club at 12-45pm and return from Bowdon at 6-30pm. The cost is £3 for players and £5 for spectators. Text 07932642344 to book a place on the coach. Kick off 3pm at Bowdon RUFC.

The 2nd have already secured promotion into NWIRUL Division One and will be playing for the league title this weekend when they take on Burnage 3rd XV. This is a significant fixture as a win this Saturday would mark the first ever promotion as league winners for the 2nd XV.

On Sunday 27/04/14 the two of our junior sides are competing in the Lancashire RFU Junior finals day at Fylde RUFC. I'm sure you will join us in wishing your U13s & U14s good luck for their respective Lancashire Cup & Bowl finals.

Hopefully all the hard work throughout the season will allow all teams to bring a win back to Riversdale Road. After this weekend we have two weeks of fun arranged. The 3rd May sees a touring side visit Liverpool Cricket Club and the Liverpool Beer Festival being held at the club and the following weekend is the annual club dinner.
