Oldham RUFC

This was held on Friday 27th JULY 2012 AT BLACKLEY GOLF CLUB

The sun shone on the players at Blackley Golf Club for this year’s Oldham RUFC Golf Day.

Eleven teams took part which was made up of past and present members of the club along with teams from Property Developers, Contractors and Suppliers

The winning team consisted of Nick McDowell, Make Hodge, Damian Hall & Tony Doige who formed the Oldham Vets team.

The format for the best 3 Stableford scores on each hole saw them amass 116 points just edging out Ross Cooper, Phil Graham, Rob Burston & Gareth Tuson with 113 points.

Following an evening meal the Oldham Rugby Club President Tony Mulholland and Past President Paul H Walsh presented prizes to 1st , 2nd & 3rd placed teams along with prizes for nearest the pin to Roy Ogden (19ft!!) and longest drive to Peter Collinge (approx 250 yards) after Phil Graham the original winner donated the prize.
