Welcome to the U9 section of the club!
Have you ever played hockey, have you never played hockey, then hockey is the sport for you!
It is great fun and good for you. No matter your skill and/or experience in hockey there are teams of varying age and skill levels available for you to join and take part in the fun.

You are taught the basics of Hockey and learn to play for the fun of it, every Tuesday night at Abergavenny Leisure Centre from 6.30 - 7.30pm for ages 5 to 9 year olds who want to learn to play hockey, we keep it simple and cater for all skill levels. The sessions are run by coaches and volunteers that are always willing to encourage and shows kids that hockey is a safe, fun, team sport for both, boys and girls.
As with all junior training, we follow Monmouthshire school holidays, so if the schools are off for half term etc.., then we are having a break too!
U9 means Year 4 and below
U9 matches take place on Sunday mornings where we attend tournament style meetings with a number of other South Wales clubs. The matches will be 7 a side played across half the astroturf pitch.
