Welsh Cup Finals for Under 11’s

Both the boys and girls U11's teams have set the pace in South Wales, both reaching the South Wales Cup Finals, and progressing to the Welsh Cup Finals

The Under 11 boys have performed strongly this season and played in treacherous conditions at Swansea Bay last week in the finals beating Whitchurch and Cardiff en-route to a place in the Welsh Finals which take place at 10:00 on Sunday Morning.

The Under 11 girls put in an equally good performance, beating Swansea Bay in their final game of the day to secure their well deserved place in the Welsh Cup Finals. The Girls will have to wait slightly longer to take in the cup final atmosphere as their first pushback will be against Gwent at 4:30.

The Boys teams face Dysynni, Colwyn Bay and Gwent, whilst the Girls side take on Pwllheli, Gwent and Whitchurch. All of the games will be played at King George V Playing Fields in Swansea.

All of the coaches at Abergavenny are very proud of all of the juniors sides this season. No Abergavenny side has previously made the South Wales Youth Hockey Finals and we all wish our Under 11 players the best of luck for tomorrow.
