Having had a week off and some rest for most of the others have helped the seconds out, while keeping match fitness in the process following our unlucky 1-0 defeat to Garden Village. The boys battled hard for long periods of the second half but just came up short looking for the deserved equaliser!

On a lovely sunny day it was great to have Eat Sleep footie repeat present to further enhance the profile of the club through the FC Cymru show followed by Dizzy penalties from the Sgorio team gave a lighthearted way to end the season for some of the youngsters.

Saturday's opponents come to town having endured some fixture backlog, so hopefully will be feeling tired and jaded although as always with the buds team you can expect them too work hard out of possession and get stuck in! I’m sure all the boys will want to end the season in the right manner and get the 3 points from our final home fixture.

I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us this year at home and hope you have all enjoyed the football produced by the boys and it means a lot to the management to continue to see your familiar faces at Penypound stadium week after week, so please stand back and enjoy hopefully a final entertaining game for the 2017/18 season and we all hope to see you all and many more next season.
