On a lovely sunny day down at cross keys i won the the toss and batted 1st.Myself and david put on 90 odd for 1st wicket which gave us a great platform for a big total well batted david top knock again.I was 1st to got for 44 bringing young Corey Wallace to the crease he and david kept the score ticket with some lovely drives before david fell 6 short of his 1st league 50 for the club. Corey was next to go for a classy 25 keep it up pal a big score is around the corner.

After a good start we had a middle order blip but owen and rigger got us up to 190 with some nice hitting at the end Owen Donovan finishing 42 not out Gareth Trapnell 20 not out .Bit gutted felt we should have set at least 240 but wasnt to be .Keys got of to a good start putting on 40 odd for 1st wicket where Lewis Wallace bowled great with no luck.With pace getting no joy we turned to spin with youngsters corey and scotty greaves bowling well at either end,corey got us the breakthrough getting there opener caught behind great work mark.

Corey then removed there number 3 with pooley taking a good catch at gully.With keys going steady corey then got his 3rd wicket with a nice c & b great effort buddy 3 for 40 again great work .With a few dropped catches which could have changed the course of the match but it wasnt to be,keys got the target in the 43 over we were 40 runs short of a good total .Never mind lads keep up the good work and lets get a big W next sat xxx
