Doing it in Doubles!
After 2 consecutive home games, Acklam will now complete 2 away games consecutively when they travel up to the land of the Bishops to face 3rd and unbeaten in the league Durham City.
Durham faced also newly promoted Whitby last week who endured a backlash of Durham correcting faults that only saw a narrow victory from their previous run out against Ponteland. No doubt feeling they are on an upward turn, bolstered by last week win, Durham will be formidable opponents at their home ground - Hollow Drift.
Acklam will be looking to improve in their consistency and continuity within the game however they travel with some small changes in personnel. Paul Owens returns after ironing out some preseason injury problems at loose head and similarly so does Chris Mallam to the wing. Debutantes on the bench are Nathan Faint and Theo Guignard, it will be interesting to see their impact in the game! We continue to retain the services of Andy Goode who again benches.
Ko is 3pm Hollow Drift - as always the players appreciate all traveling support and Durham are a highly hospitable club to visit!
