West travel to Talbot Park for the first ever league encounter between the two sides. West are riding high approaching the halfway point of the season in 3rd place only having lost once ( as all of the top three have). Acklam will be looking for an improved handling performance and with the side being re-written for a variety of reason, provides a platform for change.
Theo Guilnard comes in at centre in the biggest change, with Chris Mallam hoping to put his pace to good effect starts on the wing. With Danny Ashton at scrum half and Marcus Sudron at Fly Half handling and distribution should be highly effective.
Liam McCalmont comes in to the back row of the pack adding some fizz and With Danny Moss injured Patrick O'Brien moves to second row but should act like a 4th back row. Delighted to see Paul Owens back in starting action putting us on the front foot.
The bench has opportunities to seal the game or change the game in the form of the sprite Nathan Faint and the robust Jordan Rae. Recently released from international duty ( opening greggs in airports) Andy Goode returns to provide 5/6 yards of dynamic play.
