Acle United were knocked out of the Norfolk Senior Cup after losing 2-1 to Great Yarmouth Town and the Reserves were beaten 4-3 at Attleborough Town.

The First Team were in no way disgraced after bowing out of the Senior Cup to Great Yarmouth Town.
Acle were by far the better side in the opening stages and deservedly took the lead on 22 minutes as Faulkes headed home a long throw-in.
The Bloaters equalised 10 minutes later, against the run of play through Thompson before the game was turned on its head when Acle's Jones was shown a straight red for a challenge on Oldham on 34 minutes. Acle came under pressure being a man down but held out, to go in level at the break.
Yarmouth took the lead on 52 minutes through Goreham and wasted several chances throughout the half to extend their lead.
The final 5 minutes saw Acle throw everything at the Bloaters to force extra time, but were unable to grab an equaliser although finishing the stronger side.

The Reserves were narrowly defeated 4-3 at Attleborough Town. Going in at half-time 2-2 with a brace from Aaron Roberts, the team conceded two more after the break whilst Roberts completed his hat-trick, it was not enough to secure a point.
