The Katharine House Hospice Cup organsied by Mayday Employment & hosted by APFC raised a whopping £1453! An amazing effort by all involved.

The Katharine House Hospice Cup held on 4th August, where a Mayday XI took on a DCS XI all in aid of the local charity raised a fantastic £1453.

The match was hosted at Adderbury Park Football Club with the team also supplying a large number of players to support the event and the club donating to the sponsorship and raffle. The club currently have the Katharine House Hospice logo on all their shirts and Mayday Employment are the official 1st Team sponsor, so it was a great event for the club to be involved in.

The Mayday XI ran out 5-4 winners on the day. A huge thank you to all the players involved on the day and for donating their time and money to such a great cause.

A huge well done to former APFC player Christian Seeney for organising the event. It will return again next summer with a new format, so watch this space!

You can find some brilliant photos from the day HERE, taken by the brilliant Ed Barson.
