Roger is Nominated for an OSCA!!

4 years ago By Barry Lineker

This nomination is NOT for his acting skills, it is for his contribution to cricket, not only at Addiscombe, but also for Croydon Schools.

Roger follows in the footsteps of Chris Whitehouse and Daniel Lineker who were both nominated for OSCA's last season.
Roger has been running the colts at Addiscombe for some time now as well as the cricket within Croydon Schools, his two boys have grown up (well sort of) but he still spends countless hours organising as well as coaching the boys and girls, which is some effort considering his cricket skills are some what debateable (ask anyone who played in the match in cricket week).
Another one of his many rolls at Addiscombe is the Manager of the Sunday Developement and Trust sides, he takes a lot of the pressure off of the captains from organising the teams to collecting and washing the coloured kit, and believe me that isn't easy with some of the animals (Scotty, Peewee) that we have in these sides.
Roger is also the Vice-Chairman, Fixture Secretary and Welfare officer to name just a few of his many jobs, ALL voluntary I may add.
In summing up Roger is 'Mr Addiscombe', without him the club and Croydon Schools would struggle.
I cannot think of a better and more fitting person that deserves this nomination and hopefully the award, well done Roger keep up the good work!!
