Getting ready for the season
The first match of the season is less than Five weeks away!!
The season starts on the 16th april for both teams, with the traditional Adwalton curry night it is sure to be a good start to the season and hopefully 6 points for both teams.
With the weekend of the 9th reserved for Friendlies, the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd April will be the Natwest Cricketforce weekend. This is where we call upon willing volunteers to help tidy the field and clubhouse, paint the sidescreens, put the nets up and generally get the ground red for the 22 summer weeks of cricket.
All volunteers are humbly welcome, with tea, coffee and refreshments throughout the day and even a free t shirt for the first helpers on the day, though there is only a limited supply so please get there as early as you can, gates are open from 9! if you can spare a couple of hours or more, please contact Either Neil Laycock, Mark Palfreeman or Chris Priestley so we know how many to cater for. There will also be a volunteers list in the clubhouse for people to sign.
