The Board, who were informed last night of the decision, now wish to extend our appreciation to the FA Leagues Committee for their time in considering our application. It also wishes to express our appreciation to both the London FA and the Combined Counties League who attended the meeting at the FA and spoke in our support.
The Club will now look to liaising with the Combined Counties League over the coming days in relation to its membership of the competition.
"This is very good news and reward for the hard work that has been put in over the last few weeks to get the Club up and running." Said Paul Smith, Club Chairman. "We can begin to focus on the new season and look forward to appointing our new manager within the next couple of weeks."
Applications for the Manager post are still being sought with the closing date on Monday. Interviews will likely take place next week. Paul Smith added. "We have been delighted with the calibre of the applicants so far which is very encouraging for the season ahead and we are looking forward to making the appointment soon."
The Combined Counties season is due to begin on Saturday 4th August.
