Cray Valley PM are the visitors this evening as back to back home games get the season underway.

For Cray Valley, however, this is their opening league game. They were involved in the Roy Vintner Charity Shield on Friday night when they lost 0-5 to Phoenix Sports Reserves but it meant that they were without a league game on the opening day.

Kevin Rayner was pleased with the positives he was able to take out of the draw against Deal Town on Saturday. With five players making their debuts they are still knitting together as a team and will continue to improve as the games go by. The number of chances created in the second half was particularly encouraging.

Today promises to be a sunny day although by the time of the kick-off we might find that the clouds have gathered. There is a risk of rain or thunderstorms this evening although the worst of that is due after we back home. It still promises to be warm although it won't be as hot as it was last Saturday.

Six other games take place tonight whilst Glebe and Erith Town shared the points in a game played last night.
