The Rams end a run of 5 successive home games by welcoming Sandhurst Town to Mayfield Stadium for this Division One fixture.

Having secured 13 points from their previous four games the Rams have closed the gap on league leaders Farleigh Rovers to just two points with two games in hand. Manager Antony Williams will be keen to ensure they maintain the pressure by securing a win against second to bottom Sandhurst Town. Williams is unlikely to make any big changes and will be casting his eye over training this week before making his final selection.

Sandhurst Town have had a difficult season and currently sit second to bottom two points ahead of Chessington & Hook although they have a whopping 13 games in hand! This is partly to do with Chessington having played just 9 league games but also that Sandhurst have played more games than anyone in the league and will line up for their 23rd game on Saturday.

Despite their position Sandhurst are on a little run of good form. Their last two games have seen them secure wins against Alton Town and Sheerwater and have banged 9 goals in the process. They will certainly be keen to continue their run.

It is going to feel cold on matchday with temperatures not expected to rise above 5 degrees. A south-westerly breeze could even make it feel a degree or two colder. With no more than a shower forecast before matchday we are confident the game will be played as despite Wednesday nights rain the pitch is perfectly playable. Bring your gloves and if you haven’t already done so you can always buy a scarf!

With seven games to be played it is unusual to find the top six teams all at home. Farleigh Rovers play Alton Town and 3rd place Worcester Park entertain in-form Eversley & California. Bedfont & Feltham will play host to Dorking whilst Ash United take on Cobham. Sixth placed Banstead Athletic entertain Staines Lammas at Merland Rise and at Sheerwater they welcome Chessington & Hook United.
