The Rams are back in league action after an enforced break last week as they welcome Eversley & California to Mayfield Stadium tomorrow.

The match up with Eversley and California will be the eighth time that the two teams have faced each other in the last 3 season and the record is very close. Last season both games ended in a draw whilst earlier this season the Rams secured a comfortable win at Eversley but tomorrow’s game is likely to be close.

Recent form has lifted the Boars up to 5th in the table and they will be eyeing a late run into the promotion places. They have won 8 of their last 10 league games with defeats against Worcester Park and Staines Lammas being their only blip. Poor form earlier in the season means they are 11 points behind third placed Worcester Park but they do have two games in hand.

Since their last game at Mayfield Stadium the Rams have won twice on the road, a comfortable win over Club Langley in the London Senior Trophy and a hard fought win over promotion rivals Banstead Athletic with the only goal of the game. Antony Williams’ team will want to put behind them the reverse they had against Bedfont & Feltham and get back to winning ways on their home turf.

Apart from some overnight showers the forecast is for dry conditions for matchday. Temperatures will rise to about 6 degrees with a westerly breeze. There may even be a glimpse of sun around the time the referee brings proceedings to a close.

Don’t forget, it is a 3pm kick-off tomorrow.

In Division One tomorrow there are some interesting matchups. Leaders Farleigh Rovers face a difficult trip to play CB Hounslow United whilst 3rd place Worcester Park entertain Alton Town who banged in seven goals last week. Bedfont & Feltham travel to play Sheerwater, Banstead Athletic make the short journey to take on Epsom Athletic at Chalky Lane and Staines Lammas take on Cobham. Elsewhere, Ash United play host to Chessington & Hook United and Sandhurst Town welcome Dorking.
