Sheppey United are the visitors to Mayfield Stadium this Saturday in their second encounter of the season.

The two sides competed on the opening day of the season in an exciting FA Cup tie that The Ites won by the odd goal in five. If tomorrow's game is as good then we are in for an exciting game.

Sheppey United have seemingly been hit by the Manager of the Month curse. After our Kevin Rayner followed his September award with a winless October so Sheppey's Manager, who won the October award, has so far had a winless November! Rayner will be keen to ensure that run continues.

The Rams were back to winning ways on Tuesday night as they progressed into the next round of the League Challenge Cup with a 2-0 win over Lewisham Borough. It is now time to win again in the league as he looks to shape his side for tomorrow's game. There are no serious injury worries ahead of the game.

Sheppey lost their last league game by the only goal at Lordswood. Since then they have lost in the FA Vase at home to Beckenham Town and finally succumbed on penalties at home to Cray Valley PM in the League Challenge Cup in midweek.

Tomorrow promises to be overcast and a bit chilly with temperatures only climbing to 7 degrees. There may be the odd shower too. Tomorrow's match is being sponsored by Vice President Charles Nordsted who, along with several members of his family, will be visiting from their home in Denmark.
