Sheppey United are defending a 100% record at home this season. Four league games and two cup games at their Holm Park Stadium have all ended in victories as well as seeing them score 24 goals. By contrast they have only won once off the island also in 6 games, the win coming in their most recent trip.
Three league games without a win has seen the team drop to 10th place in the league, two places below Sheppey. Last time out a brace of goals from Joe Nwoko should have been enough to get the points but the visitors were able to come back to get the draw. But it did break back to back defeats and also saw a better performance that will have pleased Kevin Rayner.
The weather for tomorrow's game will see rain setting in for kick-off and is likely to last through the afternoon. Temperatures should be in the low teens.
Getting to Holm Park is straightforward by road. Leave Croydon for the M25 and then join the M20 via the M26. You then join the A249 which you follow over the bridge and onto the island. Join Queensborough Road and the ground is on the left where there is a good sized car park. Queensborough station is the nearest train station.
There is a full programme of league action tomorrow. Top of the table Beckenham Town are at Corinthian; 2nd placed Chatham Town take on 3rd placed Deal Town; Lordswood are at home to Glebe; Cray Valley PM are at home to Hollands & Blair; Canterbury City are at home to Croydon; Bearsted are at home to Rusthall; Fisher are at home to K Sports; Crowborough Athletic travel to take on Erith Town and Punjab United are at Tunbridge Wells.
