Top of the Table Beckenham Visit Mayfield

2 months ago By Website Administrator

A local derby as near neighbours Beckenham Town visit Mayfield Stadium in a league clash.

Beckenham Town are 5 points clear at the top of the table having won their opening 9 league games but their run came to end last Saturday at Corinthian who won the game with the only goal. They will be looking to get straight back to winning ways whilst the Rams will be hoping to make it back to back defeats on the road for Becks.

Kevin Rayner has had to call on Under 23 Manager Dan Burnett after Nic Taylor suffered an injury at Sheppey United on Saturday. He will come straight into the side which will be anxious to put last Saturday's defeat behind them and get back to their early season form. Rayner will be looking for the players to stand up and be counted or he will be forced to ring the changes after recent form has seen the side drop to 12th place.

Tomorrow promises to be a bright and sunny day with temperatures rising to the high teens. A clear evening with a light breeze should make for perfect conditions.

Three other Premier Division games take place with Corinthian at home to Glebe, Crowborough Athletic at home to Bearsted and Deal Town at home to Canterbury City.
