The Brook complete Royal double.
The Brook won a hard earned 3 points away to Windsor thus completing the double over the Royals.
On a bright, sunny but windy day the Brook travelled to Windsor looking to continue the improved form we have shown in our last 2 games.
Kicking against the strong wind the Brook got off to the best possible start as they took the lead in the 3rd minute when from a corner won in their 1st attack the ball reached Mohammed Ahmadi who scored his 1st goal for the club.0-1
The early setback galvanized Windsor as they pressed for the equalizer & on 19 minutes Cameron Kennedy in the Brook goal pulled off a superb double save to keep the Brook in front.
Windsor were not having it all their own way & on 26 minutes from a free kick a couple of yards outside the home area Austin Schofield shot just over the bar.
Bothy sides continued to look to score but it was the visitors who increased their lead in the 40th minute.Josh Quadry made a finerun down the right flank & played the ball to Harry Carter who in turn played in Sekani McCalmon whose low cross was met by Rhys Rabess who fired into the Windsor goal.0-2
Although the Brook were playing with the wind in the 2nd half it was Windsor who were making the running in the early stages & on 52 minutes opened their account when Dunbar reduced the arrears.
For the next 10 minutes the home side pressed for the equalizer but the Brook defence held firm especially keeper whose handling was excellent.
Gradually the Brook got more into the half & it took a fine save from Windsor keeper Sobte in the 60th minute to prevent Brook's Harry Carter from increasing the lead.
Both sides had opportunities to add to their totals but good goalkeeping & defending meant the game finished with the Brook deservedly winning 2-1
