2018 starts off badly for the Brook as they lose away at CB Hounslow
A poor defensive performance see the Brook drop 3 points at CB Hounslow
In what is becoming a recurring nightmare the Brook once again conceded an early goal as they met CB Hounslow on Saturday & although they fought bak the defeat leaves them hovering just above the relegation zone.
The Brook fell behind in the 2nd minute when a routine cross was not dealt with by the Brook defence & Jack Watts had the easy task of scoring.1-0
Credit to the Brook,that after this early setback they proceeded to play some good football looking for the equalizer & on 15 minutes it came.
Mourad Jarraz collected the ball 35 yards out & ran at the CB defence beating 2 players he fired a shot into the bottom right corner to make it 1-1 an excellent individual goal.
2 mins later the Brook were again behind as a defensive miskick allowed Harrison Livingstone to make it 2-1
Things got worse for the Brook on 42 minutes when Kaczmarek lost the ball allowing Watts to score his 2nd goal & CB Hounslow their 3rd.
The Brook hit back straight away as Spencer Maw reduced the score to 3-2 in the 43rd minute.H-T 3-2
The Brook started the 2nd half well & from a Spencer Maw cross in the 50th minute Mourad Jarraz hit the bar.5 minutes later Kaczmarek had the opportunity to equalize but his shot went wide.
By now it only seemed a matter of time before the Brook equalized & in the 57th minute Jarraz's shot was saved by CB's Forster but a minute later Spencer Maw crossed finding Mourad Jarraz who headed past Forster.3-3
It now looked as if the Brook could go on & win the game but i9n the 77th minute CB's Shakeel Morrison scored the 4th goal for the home side.4-3
The Brook tried hard for an equalizer but it was not to be & in the last minute had Charlie Howes sent off.
