Brook work hard to earn home win against Guildford City
Despite going 1-0 down in the 5th min & 2-1 behind in the 24th minute Brook showed their character to earn a 3-2 win.
A tough game for the Brook who were flirting with the relegation places but a performance full of spirit & character saw them fight back to earn a valuable 3 points after going behind twice.

The Brook immediately went on the attack looking for the equalizer but the Guildford defence stood firm, but in the 14th minute Mourad Jarraz had an opportunity to score but his shot was turned round the post by visiting keeper Badiali for a corner.
The Brook continued to press & were rewarded in the 19th minute when a good run & cross from the right wing from Spencer Maw found RONNELL DENNIS free at the back post & put a fierce volley past Badiali to make it 1-1
The Brook were caught out again in the 24th minute as Guildford's left back Kouadio was left unmarked to shoot home.1-2

The Brook suffered a set back on 40 minutes when their experienced centre back Michael Peacock was injured in a tackle & had to be replaced by Charlie Cahill.H-T 1-2
The 2nd half saw the Brook immediately on the attack but unable to break through the Guildford defence, with Dennis & Jarraz combining well it seemed only a matter of time before the equalizer arrived.
On 70 minutes Jarraz made a darting run into the box where he was brought down, the referee rightly awarding the Brook a penalty.
RONNELL DENNIS took responsibility for the kick & blasted the ball past Badiali for his 2nd goal of the match & the equalizer.2-2
The goal stirred Gulldford who with a bit more composure in front of goal might have had a couple of goals but were thwarted by excellent keeping from Cameron Kennedy.
The Brook continued to push for the winner & when in the 84th minute it finally came there was an element of luck about it,Spencer Maw made another strong run down the right, cut in to the byline a put a low cross across the area where Guildford's Louie Downey could only deflect the ball into his own net.3-2
The final 6 minutes(plus a couple extra)were nerve wracking for the home team as Guildford poured forward looking for the equalizer but finally the final whistle blew to give the Brook 3 hard earned points.
