Hard fought game ended in 1-1 draw
A game that the Brook had enough scoring opportunities to win ended all square - 1-1
A game,that with the number of chances we created the Brook should have had a comfortable win but once again our lack of a goalscorer cost us 2 points.
With Harry Carter returning to the team we had a much better balance & it showed as he was influential in driving us forward & on 14 minutes it was his free kick that gave us the lead.
Sekani McCalmon was played in by Harry Carter but was fouled just outside the box.Harry Carter took the kick & placed just indide the left hand post to open the scoring.1-0
The Brook continued to have the majority of possession & on 28 minutes Carter was unlucky to see his 25 yard shot just go past the post. & in the 40th minutes Carter's pass set up McCalmon but his shot went well wide.
CB Hounslow struggled to get possession but on 2 occasions they broke away & it required good saves by home keeper Bramwell to deny them a goal.
As half-time approached the Brook were awarded a free kick on the right,Harry Bishop took the kick & found Matt Kaczmarek but he put his header past the post.HT 1-0
CB Hounslow hit back immediately after the break as the Brook couldn't cope with a fine run down the left wing & as the ball was played into the area a visiting player was fouled & the referee awarded a penalty.Sepitis made no mistake from the spot.1-1
Omar Hassan nearly restored the Brook's lead after 55 minutes but his shot went just over the bar.
With the game seemingly destined for a draw McCalmon had an opportunity to win the game for the Brook as in the 80th minute he was 1-on-1 with the visiting keeper but put the ball past the post,FT 1-1
