Brook boiled by Lobsters.
Despite playing well, once again a failure to put the ball in the net cost the Brook dearly against Redhill.
The Brook started the game well & were soon on the attack.in the 11th minute Kildane Tesfu made a strong run down the right * put a good ball into the box that Nat Mensah failed to get a clean contact & the ball came off a Redhill defender for a corner which was comfortably cleared.
The game developed into a midfield battle with neither side able to create any opportunities until the 35th minute when Redhill opened the scoring through Kerry Kedze.0-1
In the 43rd minute Redhill hit the post but the ball rebounded to home keeper Bramwell.H-T 0-1
Like the 1st half the Brook started the 2nd half on the offensive but the visitors defence was solid & the Brook were unable to break through.
As the half went on the game became increasingly scrappy with neither side able to maintain possession or create scoring opportunities.
The half was drawing to a close with the Brook finally putting the visitors defence under pressure looking for a goal but as regularly happens in football it was the pressured side who scored. In the 92nd minute Redhill broke away & Trotter fired past Bramwell.F-T 0-2
