Gary "The Leach" Leech played a s full back during the period 2004/07. Always full of pace and running fans of "The Leach" were always fans of his one fantasic touch a game, this led to a Gary Leech touch of the game award being dedicated to the player who showed the tightest first touch of any game.
He was haunted by his reputation for standing open mouthed under high balls leading to cat calls that he would one day swallow the ball as it landed.
He was eventually phased out as the nightlife took hold and it became harder and harder for him to get up on a Sunday morning. The good die young.
It is a little known fact outside the dressing room that Leechy did not take a shower in 3 seasons.
