AFC Keynsham enjoyed their finest ever year in 2011 as the Saturday's completed their first season and Sundays broke all of their records.
January 2011
8/1/11 The year started perfectly for the K's when the Saturday won their first match of the year 3-2 over Coupland Insulation with goals from Danials, Powell, and Jefferies.
9/1/11 Sunday's involved in a mass controversy that saw the K's make the back page of the Bristol Evening Post when we are removed from the GFA Cup Quarter Final after being caught fielding a cup tied player in the 3-1 win a The Railway. July 2011
July saw Adam Waples hand in his notice as his partner had their baby, though he did suggest he would be back when the lad was a little older.
There was also a massive transfer coup as Turner managed to resign Danny Cardy after "Salt'n'Vinegargate", the classy centre back didn’t come alone, bringing winger Ash Allen with him from the Minors.
August 2011

October saw K's go a month without a win after both sides just couldn’t see out games in a truly awful run.
October did see the debut of Spanish sensation and Matt Goddard look a like Paco, a young man that made a big impact both on the pitch and the pubs and clubs of Bristol.
Other good news was The Good Property Company agreed to buy the K's a new kit.
