AFC Keynsham dumped out of 3 Lions Cup

K's show passion in cup defeat.

AFC Keynsham Sundays involvement in cup football was ended by a classy Lloyd Utd today.

The K's were beaten 4-0 at Manor Road by the division 1 side. The Mighty K matched there opponents for passion and energy throughout and were undone by individual errors caused by the constant pressure from the favourites.

The poor standard of the first goal led some to suggest this was the second Cup Chris Bessex had put us out of this month.

The K's finished with ten men after Player Manager Greg Turner was caught by a high boot breaking his eye socket. The gaffer looks like he will be facing a lengthy spell on the side lines.

The K's will now have the chance to concentrate on the league.
