Downend Game Moved to Manor Road

3 years ago By Chris Bessex

Teams try to beat the flood.

TONIGHT'S Downend vs. AFC Keynsham Bristol Sunday Regional League match has been moved to Manor Road in a bid to avoid flooding.

The game was scheduled to take place at DRG Stapleton's ground, but the pitch notorious for flooding is expected to again be water logged.

Both of the clubs secretaries have placed their faith in the Manor Road ground staff, who pride themselves on providing a solid surface no matter what the weather.

All will be hoping that the day light holds out to provide a decent end of the season run out for both sides.

Keynsham require a draw to finish above Downend, who will be looking for a win to leap frog the Mighty K.
