The best way to keep up to date with AFCK - The Mighty K's

Keynsham require new members

2 years ago By Chris Bessex

AFCK recruiting hard

AFC Keynsham's future is in doubt as the have club struggled to field eleven men since Christmas, and half of them saying they wont commit to next season if the turn out is so poor.

Despite having signed on 30 odd players for the 2015/16 season the club were unable to fill their bench since November. Many of the 30 players have actually not attended a single game, and far too many of the "regulars" have made other things their Sunday morning priority.

The K's need to find new players in all positions that want to play Sunday football, rather than feel men that obligated but actually are looking for a reason not to go.

Ideally men that don't set their seasons goal as "taking their Saturdays seriously, and will help out when they can on Sundays".

If you know anyone who is interested in committing to around 20 games of full 11 a side football in South Bristol on Sunday mornings between September and May they would be very welcome at the club.

We need to bring in the right kind of people are probably more important than the quality of the player at this point.

Happy Hunting.
