AFCK's most capped players donned the shirts of rivals Spartans FC to help fill out their squad for their grudge match.

The Spartans play an annual match with one of their most balanced opponents The Shield FC (formally The Valindra) for a small ceramic jug (what an original idea).

This year's game took place at The Park in Knowle on Sunday July 20th and the K's were called in to help with holiday season.

Spartans ran out 4-3 winners in an exciting game in which both teams led on two separate occasions.

Spartans manager Josh Evans cousin Greg Turner filled a gap at centre back, and portly funster Chris Bessex came off the bench to score winner.

A discussion took place that is likely to see "Fuck" Greg Turner return to the K's playing staff next year after stepping down from running the team earlier this month.
