Severn Beach deal with comedy conditions

AFC Saturdays were well beaten by Severn Beach at Manor Road after gale winds made conditions awkward for both teams.

Darren Wesson was forced in to action with a penalty save in the first few minutes after Ross Edwards left a loose foot out in the box.

However K's fell behind when a corner was not cleared and a SB forward was given three bites of the cherry after Powell blocked the first effort on the line, Wesson blocked the second, before the ball was scrambled in.

Keynsham forced the game with the wind behind them in the second half but never came closer than Powell hitting the bar with a lofty volley.

As an equaliser began to look inevitable, a quick Severn Beach break away and confusion in the K's back line led to a killer second goal.

Ash Allen was voted man of the match for an all action display.
