"Two Sugars" injured in horror accident.

Player Manager Greg "2 Sugars" Turner suffered a horrible injury during today Three Lion's Cup match.

Stooping to head the ball clear Turner caught a boot in the face from and attacker attempting a high volley. Turner's participation in the match was ended there and then due to a large gash above his eye.

After the match Turner went to hospital to have it inspected where he was told his eye socket had been shattered by the blow.

Question marks are now raised over how long "The Gaffer" could be out or if his season is indeed over.

Turner is currently AFC Keynsham's most capped player; has only missed a handful of games in the 3 seasons since the club formed. A lengthy lay off will be nearly as painful as the hit was for the lanky defender.

All at AFC Keynsham wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in the blue soon.
