Manager Impressed With Attitude

AFC are pleased to announce the signing of 26 year-old forward Terry Rymer from FC Clacton.

Rymer left Brightlingsea Regent early on in the season, a club he had fired to numerous promotions and championship winning league campaigns over the last five years and had revitalised the fortunes of FC Clacton since his arrival.

On the radar for several months, the club had already made the approach to FC Clacton before the sale of Jake Reed last week to Lowestoft Town.

Having had him watched several times and then assessed by Football Development Director Steve Eastaugh, AFC Manager David Batch is already impressed with his attitude.

'We had agreed Terry would sign for the club before we had even discussed terms. He is hungry to prove his ability and is aware of the potential this club has. There is always an element of the unknown when you sign a new player, but I am hopeful his ethic and attitude will fit with ours'.
