Over the course of the weekend, the Foundation Phase squads welcomed Flint Town United to The Hollingsworth Group Stadium. First up on Saturday were the U9 who were unable to overcome a slow start as they lost 5-4 to the young silkmen.

Due to the close proximity of christmas and the Futsal programme beginning for the U10 and U11, the remaining fixtures were moved to monday night. The U8 produced an excellent and highly competitive game and went down 2-0 to a superb Flint side. It is definitely a mark of how far the squad have come that they are now disappointed to have not gotten something from this game.

The U10 drew their game 2-2 with Ben Ashcroft on the score sheet. In the final game on monday night, the U11 lost out 5-3 to the young silkmen in yet another highly competitive encounter.
