Futsal: U12 and U16 qualify for Final Four, U14 narrowly miss out
U12 and U16 move into the semi finals of the North Wales Academy Futsal, but unfortunately the U14 narrowly miss out on a place in the top four.
The U12 went into Sunday's last week of league action knowing that three wins would see them progress. They delivered just that as they ended the day undefeated with three wins from four games. Tom Wellings side progress with Bangor City, Conwy Borough and mbi Llandudno.
Jamie Crowther's U16 side smashed their way into the last four with another dominating display. In their final game they beat table toppers TNS thanks to a virtuoso display from Sam McCormick.
Unfortunately the U14 narrowly missed out on a top four place and finished fifth in their age group. They needed a clean sweep of victories on the final day to qualify and were desperately unlucky to miss out as they were pipped to fourth place.
Overall a hugely successful three events so far for the young wingmakers, as our preparations now move onto the finals week on Sunday 22 January.
