5 months ago By Dave Riley

Here is our club Team of the Week from last weekend's fixtures.

1: Alife Wilkinson (U8)
Alife turned in an excellent display in monday’s nights win over neighbours gap Connahs Quay. Alfie made a string of fine saves as he helped start the comeback from 2-0 down.
Dave Riley - Under 8 Coach

2: Curtis Affell (U11)
A strong defensive performance from Curtis, who was instrumental in stopping the two tall TNS strikers.
Lee Starkey / Colin Parsonage - Under 11 Coaches

3: Luke Davies (U10)
Luke was solid for the U10 playing both at the back and as a holding midfielder. He linked play superbly providing and attacking bridge for the U10 in their two fixtures.
Jack Seery / Rhys Hewitt - Under 10 Coaches

4: Richie Beck (U9)
A solid defensive display from Richie who was the foundation that the U9 built their performance around.

Captain led by example as he was solid defensively and also bagged a hat trick in Sunday’s top of the table clash with Brickfield Rangers.
Rick Chapman / Nathan Nicholls - Under 18 Coaches

Glenn produced arguably his best display since rejoining the club. He controlled midfield and kept possession well. Glenn also made a goal saving block in the seocnd half that kept Druids off the scoresheet.
Andrew Thomas - First Team Manager

7: Rylee West (U8)
An excellent display from winger Rylee. His trickery was a thorn in the side of TNS and he also scored two excellent goals to help the U8 in their comeback.
Dave Riley - Under 8 Coach

8: Aled Bellis (U19)
Returning to the fold after a lay off, Aled produced a combative midfield performance that was rounded off by scoring the winning goal.
Gareth Richards - Under 19 Coach

Under 16 player Kai, grabbed himself another two goals for the U18 in Sunday’s win over Brickfield Rangers. He was a constant thorn in Bricky’s side as well as always looking a goal threat.
Rick Chapman / Nathan Nicholls - Under 18 Coaches

10: Sam Robinson (U15)
Another good performance to add to a string of impressive displays. Worked tirelessly throughout and looked a constant threat in what was otherwise a frustrating day.

Jack got himself on the scoresheet an also assisted a number of goals in the U11 win on friday night over Cefn Druids.

Ellis was back to his all action best for the U14 despite them going down to a strong Bangor City side.
Dave Riley / Colin Parsonage - Under 14 Coach

13: Ffion Whitley (U14 Girls)
Solid holding midfielder who broke up play and defended well in Saturday’s game. She also rattled the bar with a free kick from just outside the box.

Always full of energy and never gives up, Abbey scored her first goal for the wingmakers in saturdays game.
Lauren Davies - Airbus Girls
