With another Friday night game at the Hollingsworth group stadium, the Youth team bounced back from a disappointing result last weekend with their best attacking performance of the season to blow away visitors Bradley Park FC with a nine goal haul. The Wingmakers started well and took the lead in the sixth minute after Harvey Robinson headed in at the back post from a lovely Tom Cain cross. This gave the youth team plenty of confidence and they started to control the game with plenty of possession. The second goal came on the twenty minute mark, when Airbus won possession from pressing high up the pitch as Bradley Park attempted to play out and George Peers delivered another cross from the left for Harvey Robinson to get his second goal of the game. The third goal followed ten minutes later when Jamie Crowther headed powerfully home from a Tom Cain delivered corner. 3-0 remained the score as the ref blew for half time with Airbus in total control of the game. The second half started as the first finished with Airbus getting an early goal two minutes after the restart when Kane Blackburn scored from close range after Bradley Park failed to clear from another Airbus corner. The attacking football continued from the home side and midfielder Lee Jones added his name to the score sheet after a good dribbling run into the penalty area and he finished superbly passed the keeper. Hardworking centre forward Ollie Lancley was continuing to give the Bradley park defence a torrid time and after another fine run and good cut back into the box substitute Toby Vickery headed home. Another substitute soon made his mark after coming on when Liam Schofield finished coolly after some more good work from Kane Blackburn in the centre of the pitch. The scoring was not finished as full back Richard Chapman made a marauding run down the left hand side and delivered a dangerous ball across the six yard box for Harvey Robinson to tap in at the back post to complete his hat trick. With the game now coming to a close, the best of the goals was left till the last when Toby Vickery picked up the ball 25 yards out and hit a powerful shot which dipped at the end to deceive the keeper and hit the back of the net.
