The day will start at 8.30am for the England game with the work starting at 10.30am. BBQ and beers available - please turn up and help out

The RFU and NatWest have got together to support Rugby Force. The aim of the Rugby Force scheme is to bring clubs together to update and improve their facilities.

We have just been awarded £2,500 after apply to the NatWest Rugby Force scheme (one of only 35 clubs in the country to do so).

The event is open to all juniors, parents, senior players and all supporters and friends.

The more volunteers we get the more we can do!

To get the most out of the event there will be jobs that need doing before the day so if you are not available on the 21st you can still get involved.

Please get involved and volunteer by replying to me (jameskinghorn@btinternet.com), and letting me know if you can help out on the day (and / or before) and if you have any skills and / or contacts that do and that may be willing to help out (e.g. electrician / joinery / plumbing etc.). If you know anyone that could source cheap (or free) materials that would also help.

The day is on Sat 21st June.

There will be a BBQ later in the day and bacon sandwiches etc. on the go and there will also be several games of international rugby on the TV throughout the day, starting at 8am with New Zealand vs. England.

Aims of the Event:1) Overhaul the toilets (especially the ladies, which will be transformed) but including the gents disabled / baby changing
2) Clean / paint / repair / improve the changing rooms and corridor
3) Minor works outside (clearing, planting, cleaning, clearing gutters, improve club signage etc.)
4) Various other tasks depending on numbers and skills of volunteers
5) Work together as a club and have a fun but productive day

If you have any questions please let me know.

James (on behalf the Committee)
