Aldermaston ran out worthy winners in a hard fought victory in the Wadworth 6X BBO Championship derby 15-25 against Shire Hall on Saturday, which saw them complete the double over the Sonning Lane men having beaten them at home in September, and cement their 3rd place spot in the League .

It also confirmed their place as Berkshire representatives in the RFU Junior Vase which starts in early February.

Tries by Ben Crew, man of the match Rory Laing, Marcus Griffiths & the impressive Cameron Thorne meant a winning bonus point and Ian Martin chipped in with one conversion and a penalty.

Aldermaston now look forward to welcoming Chipping Norton to the Rec.Soc on Saturday 16th December in the last League fixture of 2017.
