M60, M61, at JCT 6 for Chorley, Horwich, A6027. Left at end of slip road for Wigan B5238. Left at next roundabout onto A6, for Wigan B5238. 200m (first right) into Dicconson Lane, for Wigan B5238 and after about 1.5 miles see their posts to left. Shortly after, fork left off main road into Wigan Road, signed Wigan B5238. 100m first left down track to clubhouse at end. Clubhouse Tel No 01942 831611.
BIRKENHEAD PARK
M60, M56 to M53. Follow signs for Ellesmere Port. Come off M53 at JCT4 (Clatterbridge) and follow Birkenhead signs (b5151 Mount Rd). Follow road until 4th set of traffic lights (this is several miles), at 4th set of lights turn right into Upton Rd. Follow this road passed the shops and around the right hand bend. BLACKBURN
M60, M66, A56, M65 left towards Preston / Blackburn. Come off at JCT 6, turn right onto A6119. Follow straight on for approx 3 miles and clubhouse is on right. Go past clubhouse and do U-Turn after about 200yds and turn left into clubhouse. Clubhouse Tel No 01254 247669.

M60, M61, M6. Come of at Preston JCT (Tickled Trout). Turn right at roundabout following signs for Blackburn & Clitheroe (dual carriageway). Go past shell garage, go straight on at traffic lights, past Salmesbury Hall, KFC and Land Rover garage. Go to next set of lights and filter left into Ramsgreave Drive. Go up hill and through set of traffic lights. **SLOW DOWN SPEED CAMARA** Signpost on left Blackburn RUFC. Club is in Brownhill area of Blackburn. Clubhouse Tel No 01254 247669.
BOLTON
M60, M61, A666 Bolton to end. Follow A673 Preston i.e. left, right, until infirmary (on left), don’t fork left (for A673) go straight on. In 0.2 miles 3rd? roundabout into Avenue St. Club 0.1 miles on right.
BOWDON
M60 to Stockport. Follow signs for M56 Manchester Airport and Chester. Come off at the Sharston exit DO NOT GO ONTO M56. Go straight on at the next three roundabouts, taking the 2nd exit on each. This will take you onto the A560. Follow road to roundabout and take 2nd exit onto Shaftsbury Ave, after half a mile turn left onto the A5144. At the next roundabout turn left onto Clay Lane. Instead of right into Cross Lane (above), continue along Stockport Road, fork left at lights into Station Road, past railway station on left, turn left just before Marple bridge, down to end of track.
Hall High School: Pass Wyevale garden centre (above), turn left at lights (T junction). 0.3 mile, take 2nd left into Hill Top Drive. School on left, go to bottom car park.

M60 JCT 1 (Stockport West). Immediately cross over motorway (on roundabout), then first exit up Didsbury Rd, A5145. After about 2 miles, through lights to cross Kingsway, A34, then immed. right at main road (Wilmslow Rd) and under Railway Bridge. After 0.4 miles road bends right and on left hand side of bend pass The Didsbury and The Olde Cock pubs. Broomhurst Hall is next on left, set back with car park in front, 836 Wilmslow Rd.
BROUGHTON (SALFORD) 7 Miles, 20 Minutes.
Left down Ashton New RD until velodrome then turn next right (signed Bury, Rochdale etc.) into ring road (Alan Turing Way). Straight on for 3 miles, over Oldham Rd onto Queens Rd, over Rochdale Rd & Cheetham Hill Rd into Elizabeth St. Follow main road round sharp left into great Cheetham St. East and through lights. Go over Bury New Rd into Great Cheetham St. West. After ½ mile (2nd lights) turn right into Lower Broughton Rd opp. Griffin pub. After ¼ mile right into Yew Street. BROUGHTON PARK
EITHER: M60 Stockport and off at A5103 to go N up Princess Rd. 0.7 mile left into Barlow Moor Rd. 0.7 mile right into Mauldeth Rd West. In ½ mile going up a gentle incline (Railway Bridge) can see ground on left take 1st left into Chelsfield Grove.
OR: Mancunian Way then S down Princess Rd. Right at lights (with large black & white timbered pub on right hand corner) into Mauldeth Rd West in 0.7 mile just before gentle incline over railway turn right into Chelsfield Grove. Clubhouse Tel No 0161 881 2481.
BURNAGE
M60 JCT 1 (Stockport West). Cross over M/way (on the roundabout), then first exit up Didsbury Rd, A5145. After 1.4 miles (0.2 mile after Crown pub) road descends and LHS becomes open, turn left into Station Rd. The road drops, turn left, right and right again into Battersea Rd. Straight on to end. BURY 12 miles.
N up Bury Old Rd and over M62. After 0.2 mile, in one-way system, turn right at T-junction and fork right for A56 Bury (Bury Old Rd). Don’t take left into A6053 but after a further 0.5 mile with soccer pitches on left, and “Staff of Life†pub on right, turn left into Radcliffe Rd just before lights. Bury Sports Club 1st right (20 yds).
BUXTON
Approaching Buxton from Chapel-en-le-Frith, 1st left after golf course, 1st right. Tall blue changing block: should see posts!

COLNE & NELSON
M60, M66, A56 to M65. Turn right onto M65 towards Burnley. Go to end of M65 Motorway to Colne, at roundabout turn left , signposted, one mile straight up the hill (at the very top) Clubhouse Tel No 01282 86333.
DAVENPORT/STOCKPORT 10 miles, 20 minutes.
M60, JCT 26 (Stockport a560). At roundabout, 2nd exit for A626 Marple (St. Mary’s Way). Straight on through 3 sets of lights, at 4th set of lights turn left into Higher Hillgate. After 100m get into right hand lane and at lights, fork right to cross over A6 into Bramhall Lane passing Blossoms Hotel on left hand side i.e. don’t veer left onto A6. After about 1.5 miles fork left at large roundabout (like mini park) onto Bridge Lane. Take 2nd right into Headlands Rd, down to end and go left up the hill. Clubhouse Tel No 0161 439 2150.

FYLDE
M60, M61, M6, JCT 32 M55 off at JCT 4. Turn left as you come off motorway (A583) four tenths of a mile then turn right at traffic lights B5261. Follow this road for 2 miles to the T Junction at the end. Turn left at lights, straight on for 3 miles to a mini roundabout, straight on (see Blossoms Pub on right). M60, M62 JCT 24, follow road under m/way following Halifax & Huddersfield signs. At roundabout take 4th exit (Huddersfield). Go straight on through 2 sets of traffic lights until you come to a Y junction. At Y junction keep to right and stop (20 yards). Turn left and go down hill and follow main road bending to right. Go straight on through 3 sets of t/lights. At 4th set of t/lights stay in middle lane. Go down hill and through next 2 sets of t/lights at 3rd set of t/lights turn left. M60, M66, A56 M65. Turn right onto M65 and follow to end then onto A6068. Turn right onto A629 then left onto A6034. At end turn right onto A65 and go into Ilkley town centre, go to set of traffic lights (church on left hand side, Crescent Hotel on right hand side) and turn left. Go down road 200yds (over river) club entrance on right hand side.
KIRKBY LONSDALE
M60, M61, M6 JCT 36 turn right. Follow signs for Kirkby Lonsdale (8Miles). When you get BP garage on right, take the next left (sign posted Town Centre). Go down to T junction and turn left (approx. 1 mile). Go to next T junction and turn left (sign posted KLRUFC) follow road for ½ mile then turn right. Follow road into clubhouse.

M60, M62, JCT 21 Off at JCT 21 Milnrow. Follow signs to Hollingworth Lake i.e. left at roundabout, over railway, right at lights then immediately left up hill (B6225) and left again after 0.3 mile. After 1.5 miles, right at T junction. Road then bends left to meet lake. Follow lake edge, turning right off main road at pub, along rough narrow lane, clubhouse on right after 0.5 mile. M60 towards Stockport come off at Jct. 25 Bredbury. Turn Right at Roundabout. At 2nd set of Traffic lights turn left. Go to 2nd set of lights turn right. Left out of club entrance down Ashton New Road. 4th set of traffic lights turn right into Edge Lane, down hill, up hill, over level crossing. STOCKPORT
M60 to Stockport. Come off at the Portwood roundabout, signposted Stockport. At roundabout 2nd exit A626. Straight on at first three sets of lights – (B5465 St Mary’s Way). Left at 4th set of lights onto Higher Hillgate, which leads to A6 Stockport road. Go straight across Stockport road onto A5102. Follow on this road until a roundabout and take the 1st exit left onto A5143 Bridge Lane. 2nd right into Headlands Road (450 yards) which is approach to club. 0161 439 2150.

M60 past Oldham. Stay on M60 Onto M62 to Liverpool don’t go onto M66. Go onto M62 to Liverpool and stay onit past Warrington. Go from M62 to M6 North towards Preston. Leave M6 at Jnct 27 go left at roundabout onto A5209. Follow for five ish miles then turn Right onto A59 towards Preston. Stay on A59 for about 6 miles until the Junction with the A565. Go straight on onto Church Road following signs into Tarleton. At the second roundabout, near the Lord Lilford pub, turn left into Gorse Lane. M60, M61, M6 off at JCT 34. Right at main road, A683. After 1mile follow signs for A6 Morecambe and join one-way system, Caton Rd, which bends right just before lights which you go through over the Lune. Straight on with river on left, under bridge for London – Glasgow railway. After 0.3 mile at traffic lights, turn right into Scale Hall Lane. VULCAN
M60 onto M62 towards Liverpool. Come off M62 at A49 (Jct 11??) signposted Warrington Newton-le-Willows. Take 3rd exit off roundabout onto A49. M602 straight on to M62 (Liverpool) to Jct 6 then onto M57. Go to end of M57 follow signs for Docks. At flyover at Seaforth Docks turn right towards Crosby/Southport. At Crosby Village lights turn left. Then go over 3 small roundabouts until roundabout with Manor Road/ St Michaels Road. WEST PARK (ST HELENS)
Go down East Lancs road, past Carmell Hotel on Left. At BP garage turn left. (St Helens L., Liverpool Straight on, Rainford R) take 1st right, about 50yds. (Sign posted Pilkingtons Head Office). Go past 7 stars pub then take next left at bend in road. Follow road to T Jct. at end and turn left then 1st right (Dunriding Lane). Go to T Jct. at top and turn right (Bird in Hand pub on left) keep in right hand lane through the lights. Go past pub called the Grange and Grange golf club and go straight on for 600/700yds. WHEATLEY HILLS (DONCASTER)
M60, M62 then onto A1 (M) take the Doncaster/Barnsley JCT (A635). Head towards Doncaster. At very end of A635 (Sun Inn pub and Ringways Ford Garage) turn right onto A638 towards Doncaster. Go through 2 sets of traffic lights and then just over hill (B&Q on right) get in right hand lane and turn right towards B&Q. Go round the back of B&Q and follow road for about 250 yds. Club on right hand side.

Go past 7 stars pub then take next left at bend in road. Follow road to T Jct. at end and turn left then 1st right (Dunriding Lane). Go to T Jct. at top and turn right (Bird in Hand pub on left) keep in right hand lane through the lights. Go past pub called the Grange and Grange golf club and go straight on for 600/700yds. WHEATLEY HILLS (DONCASTER)
M60, M62 then onto A1 (M) take the Doncaster/Barnsley JCT (A635). Head towards Doncaster. At very end of A635 (Sun Inn pub and Ringways Ford Garage) turn right onto A638 towards Doncaster. Go through 2 sets of traffic lights and then just over hill (B&Q on right) get in right hand lane and turn right towards B&Q. Go round the back of B&Q and follow road for about 250 yds. Club on right hand side.

WIDNES
M602 straight onto M62. M62 Jct. 7 follow CRONTON signs (left, right at lights, right at T Jct. then straight ahead across 2 roundabouts in front of Globe pub). In Cronton turn left at lights by Black horse pub and follow Widnes signs for 1 mile. Club is on left over railway bridge. Clubhouse Tel No 0151 424 2575.
WILMSLOW
M60, M56. Off M56 at Jct.6 (1 after Manchester Airport turn off) turn right towards Wilmslow. After approx. 1¾ miles petrol station on right hand side, take the next left turn, sign posted Wilmslow RUFC. Club at bottom of this road on left.
WIRRAL
M60, M56, M53 towards Birkenhead. Off at Jct. 4. Turn immediate Left, (Clatterbridge Hospital on Right). Go to roundabout and come of just after straight on, (2 O’clock), signposted Thornton Hough / Wollerston. Clubhouse ¾ of a mile down road on Left Hand Side. Clubhouse Tel No 0151 334 1309.
