WE WANT THE SHIRT OFF YOUR BACK!

New Page WE WANT THE SHIRT OFF YOUR BACK!
As part of our 75th year events,in partnership with LV=SOS KitAid and The Lord's Taverners,we aim to cover the First XV pitch with AT LEAST 15,000 rugby shirts !

HOW WILL THIS WORK ?

Shirts will be collected over the next 5 months and they will all be numbered and stored until Monday 7th May 2012, when we will display these rugby shirts on our First team Pitch.
All shirts will be recorded in our attempt to set a record. All rugby shirts donated will be recognised on this web site as contributors to this special event.
We are hoping to have at least one shirt from every Rugby Union Club, University and School in the UK and the rugby playing world.
THAT IS WHERE YOU COME IN !!!!!

WHAT DO WE WANT FROM YOU ?

We are looking for you to donate as many shirts as possible to us (how many kits do you have stashed away that havent been used for many years?).Shirts need not be new but should be wearable because, immediately after the event the shirts will be collected by LV=SOS Kit Aid, sorted out into kis and distributed to needy causes all over the world.
All sizes are welcomed , from skinny minis to front row porkers!!!

WHAT TO DO NEXT ?

if you are willing to participate in this fantastic event please e mail Aldwinians Club Secretary , Sylvia Donley at sylviadonley57@hotmail.com stating the number of shirts you wish to donate; full collection address and a contact phone number.Your donation and and a collection date will be confirmed by return e mail.
