Welcome to the 3rd year of our Allan Glens RFC Academy, Bonus Ball fundraiser

Dear Parent / Supporter,
Welcome to the 3rd year of our Allan Glens RFC Academy, Bonus Ball fundraiser, which will start in March 2016.
What is it?
 A fund raising opportunity, which every month pays out a cash
prize of £200.00
How much does it cost?
 £10.00 per month (p/m)
How is this paid?
 Through a standing order 12 months x £10.00 p/m (total £120.00)
or a cash / cheque payment for £120.00, paid in advance of the
first draw.
How does it work?
 On the final Saturday of every month, the ‘Lotto’ bonus ball drawn
during the ‘National Lottery’ will act as the winning number for the
Allan Glens ‘Dropped Balls Bonus.’ Whoever is the lucky ‘owner’
of this number will win £200.00.
How many people will be entered into this draw?
 As with the National Lottery, there will be 59 numbers (1 - 59)
available to purchase.
How will the numbers be allocated?
 Lucky dip bases, with a ‘Dropped Ball’ number draw taking place
to identify your name with your number .
What do you get if your number is drawn?
 The person with the winning number will win £200.00
What will the AG RFC Academy receive?
 In the case where all 59 numbers have been allocated, each
month the AG RFC Academy funds will be boosted by £390.00,
over the year this amounts to £4,680.00
What happens if not all numbers are allocated and one of those
numbers is drawn as the bonus ball?
 In the case where the drawn number has not been allocated the
winnings will be rolled over to the next month.
Are there a minimum numbers of participants?
 Yes, in the case where there are less than 21 numbers allocated,
the bonus ball will not operate and any subscription will be
returned for that month.
What will this funding be used for?
 All monies received will be spent on furthering our training
opportunities for Academy player, e.g. Replacement strips/
Training Equipment / buying time to train indoors etc…
Who is able to participate?
 Anyone over the age of 18 years who is a member of;
 Allan Glens Rugby Club Section
 Allan Glens Sports Club
 A Parent / Guardian / Carer of a son/daughter who is registered
with Allan Glens RFC (Academy)
 A Friend of Allan Glens
How will I know who wins the monthly draw?
 You will be contacted directly through e-mail
How much does this cost?
 12 x monthly payments of £10.00 (paid through a standing order
arrangement).
 Alternatively, you could invest up front, cash or cheque to the
value of £120.00
What do I need to take part in the Allan Glens ‘Dropped Balls Bonus’?
 To take part you will need to complete the application form
