Glen's continued with their winning ways, with a bonus point, but it took them twenty minutes to break down a stuffy Helensburgh
defence. At this point Glen's persistent pressure on the home line resulted in Reilly going over in the corner for the opening try.
Fifteen minutes later a perfectly placed kick to the corner by Glen's stand off Thomson allowed Frame to collect the ball and barge over
the line. Thomson converted.
Just before half time Price went over from ten meters out for a typical scrum half try. Again Thomson converted making the score 0 - 19
at the break.
The second half was marred by handling errors on both sides, probably due to the soggy conditions, which could otherwise have led to a higher scoring game. However, on the restart a break by McKeown gave Lennon the opportunity to touch down on the wing to add to the visitors tally.
Five minutes later Ekevati barged over for Glen's after constant pressure on the Helensburgh line. Thomson converted.
Towards the end of the game Moore went over under the posts for Glen's from short range for Glen's giving Thomson an easy conversion.
In the last seconds of the game Helensburgh's vice captain Slader intercepted a stray Glen's pass and beat the visiting defence the ten meters to the line.
