It was a very special day at The Bearyards last Saturday. Not only did both Senior teams win in their respective matches, but The Club was presented with another Scotland shirt to display on our walls within the Clubhouse.
Glen’s Boy, Alex Cuthbertson was on hand with his biggest Rugby hero, Al Kellock, to present his No.8 Shirt to us, which he earned during last summer’s International Mixed Ability Rugby Tournament (IMART 2017), held in Vitoria-Gastiez, Basque Country, Spain.
Founder of Tri-Rugby ‘Clan RFC’ Jamie Armstrong was also at The Club to show support for Alex and thank Allan Glen’s for our support in allowing The Clan to train at The Bearyards since last Summer. Jamie added, "We are looking for as many people to join in with our Unified Rugby teams across Scotland, in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Ayrshire and Aberdeenshire.
We will also be starting sessions at Allan Glen's for young players in the future".
Any updates on this will be posted on the usual Allan Glen's Social Media.
