Glen’s were on the backlash from Acads 89 - 3 drubbing by Marr last week and were pretty well out played in every aspect of the game.
It was the home backs who did the most damage with slick handling and speed advantage.

Winger MacCallum scored for Acads after only five minutes but Glen’s replied a few minutes later with a penalty by Thomson. Using their backs to good effect the Anniesland men scored further tries through William, MacCallum and Beattie before the break of which McLaren converted two.

Things didn’t change after the break with tries coming from Jackson, Beattie, Marchetti and Wright to complete the rout. McLaren was in good kicking form and converted three of the tries.

Glen’s showed occasional glimpses of past glories with Naphausen , McKinstry and Thomson to the fore.
