The Under 14s, were boosted by some new faces from both Lornshill and Alloa Academies School of Rugby Programme and all of the boys performed well in a series of small sided games aimed at introducing some basic rugby skills with the emphasis very much on ensuring that all of the boys left the club with a fun experience and judging by the smiling faces at the post match refreshments then it was mission accomplished.

Meanwhile, the Under 16’s looked really strong as they welcomed some new faces into the side from last season’s Under 14 squad and it didn’t take the Alloa side long to gel as a team as they scored 4 first half tries and a further 3 in the second period to record a fine 45-7 victory.

The club would like to thank everyone who contributed to the day - coaches, caterers, referee's, etc and especially to Strathmore for making the journey down the A9.

All existing and new players are reminded that training nights are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm – 8.30pm at Earlsfield.
