This is not an event to be missed as this year we are delighted to announce that highly acclaimed after dinner speaker, Scott Glynn will be joining us.

Tranent boy, Scott cut his rugby teeth at Preston Lodge High, then went on to play with P.L. Rugby Club and in 2005 became club president. Scott was actually the first professional rugby player in East Lothian, he was paid the massive sum of £2000 by ADIDAS to wear PUMA.

Scott has starred alongside Tara Palmer-Tompkinson in a TV advert for AUTOTRADER, played a tough guy on the popular TAGGART television drama, and had a major role as The Bishop of Glasgow in the acclaimed BBC documentary THE HISTORY OF SCOTLAND.
He has recently shot a video for KRONENBOURG 1664, and also does pantomimes and summer shows with 'The Centre Stage Company'. In addition to his acting and stand-up career, Scott is in great demand as an after-dinner speaker and has spoken at venues all over the world, from Dundee to Dubai, and has had the privilege of sharing top tables with sporting legends such as football's Sir Alex Ferguson, Walter Smith, Jim Leishman, Alan Kennedy, Nobby Stiles, Jimmy Nichol and Billy McNeill and from the rugby world Kenny Milne (at a previous ARFC Players Dinner), Andy Nicol, Richard Hill, Australian star Michael Foley, and the Welsh legend..... Max Boyce.
