The club will be open this Sunday (24th February) for the Scotland V Ireland match.
Matt Scott insists his first international try in the victory against Italy will live long in his memory as he helped kickstart Scotland's 2013 RBS 6 Nations assault.
“There was a heart-in-the-mouth moment while I was trying to bring the pass from Sean Maitland under control,” Scott told The Scotsman. “It would have been horrible to knock on, but I soon saw the field open up. I can’t put into words how good it felt to score for Scotland – especially with the try coming at a key moment in the match just after half-time"
Ireland won last years meeting in Dublin, in spite of a cavalier try from Scotland lock forward Richie Gray, but on the last occasion the teams met at Murrayfield - the 2011 EMC Test - Scotland triumphed with a try from Joe Ansbro the decisive score.
Therefore, it's all set up to be an exciting match and we look forward to seeing a full clubhouse to cheer on the boys.
