New Managerial Teams Confirmed

Alnmouth United and Alnmouth Argyle confirm new appointments to fill the suddenly vacated roles.

Sean Henderson speaking a hastily arranged press conference from his home in Acklington has advised that it is he who will be taking charge of Alnmouth United following the resignation of Paul Robinson.

Henderson states "I have no issues in leaving Alnmouth Argyle as I leave the team in capable hands and I am personally looking forward to the challenge in taking on a new role with Alnmouth United". It is believed that Henderson agreed to take charge of the side until the end of the season after which both he and the club committee will review the situation.

Club Chairman, Neil Robson, added to Henderson's comments by informing the gathered media that the on field affairs of Alnmouth Argyle will be handled by John Winter and Jonny Farmer again until the end of the season at which point the entire managerial situation will be reviewed.

One half of the duo, John Winter, gave this response to anxious fans when asked about any change to the teams tactics "I do want to play the short ball and I do want to play the long ball. I think long and short balls is what football is all about".

One fan directed his question to Jonny Farmer regarding the return to fitness of his mangerial colleague following his double broken leg, Farmer replied "He’s got his legs back, of course, or his leg – he’s always had one but now he’s got two".

It is sure to be an interesting weekend as both clubs look to capitalise on improved league performances of late.
